When we began working with KLX, they were one of the world’s leading parts distributors for the aerospace industry. It’s an industry with many players, but no true leader. Everyone showed planes, clouds, and blue skies. It was a sea of sameness and time to do something bold. Which we did and it resulted in a $3.5 billion acquisition from Boeing.

Problem

Our campaign called “Part of something bigger” was designed to elevate KLX and their role in aerospace. They didn’t just distribute small parts; they were the glue and the rivets that held the entire industry together. Every product, every employee, every KLX facility around the globe was part of something bigger. It was a combination of logic and emotion and made them the industry leader and a very attractive addition to Boeing.
