UBS caters to ultra-high worth individuals. Many have spent a lifetime building powerful businesses. Eventually, they will exit the business, a complicated process that takes 2-5 years. Research showed it’s not just a business transaction. These people see their business as a true reflection of who they are and question their identity after selling. To accommodate all aspects of the event — financial and emotional — we created work that covered the full process: before, during, and after the exit.

Problem

Building a successful business takes passion. Our campaign showed how exiting a business — and establishing new goals — can be handled the same way. “Proceed with passion” gave UBS a platform of empathy and understanding that fully addressed a business owner’s fear of the future. The multi-faceted campaign covered the entire journey from initial thoughts of selling to personal fulfillment afterwards.
